Dig means the whole earth and Vijay means to Conquer. Thus Digvijay stands for conquering the whole earth. Only one warrior in the entire Mahabharat achieved this excellent feat. That warrior is none other than KARNA. ( Jealous Arjun fans ?)
Karna won the whole world in all 4 directions. He defeated "ALL" kings of aaryavrat in his digvijay.
● Victory over WEST direction :
Sacred-Text :
"Then, O bull among the Bharatas, that mighty bowman, Karna, surrounded by a large army, besieged the beautiful city of Drupada. And he, after a hard conflict, brought the hero under subjection, and, O best of monarchs, made Drupada contribute silver and gold and gems, and also pay tribute. And, O foremost of kings, having subdued him, (Karna) brought under subjection those princes that were under him (Drupada) and made them pay tribute.
→CONCLUSION :
a) Drupad was the first warrior defeated by Karna in his digvijay. Point to be noted here: All Pandavas collectively defeated Drupad, while Karna did it single handedly.
b) Karna defeated drupad & all kings of west direction.
-------------------------------------
●Victory over NORTH direction :
Sacred-Text :
Then going to the north, he subdued the sovereigns (of that quarter) and having effected the defeat of Bhagadatta, Radha's son ascended that mighty mountain Himavat, all along fighting his foes. And ranging all sides, he conquered and brought under subjection all the kings inhabiting the Himavat, and made them pay dues.
→ CONCLUSION :
a) In north, Karna single-handlydefeated Bhagdatta (son of Narkasur)
[ Note- In kurushetra war, when this bhagdatta launched Vaishnavastra then krishna saved Arjuna by enduring the weapon on his own chest. But In digvijay karna easily defeated him without help of anyone. LOL..This again proves Karna > Arjuna ]
b) After that he went to himalaya & gain victory over all kings of himalaya.
-------------------------------------
● Victory over EAST direction :
Sacred-Text :
Then descending from the mountain and rushing to the east, he reduced the Angas, and the Bangas, and the Kalingas, and the Mandikas, and the Magadhas. the Karkakhandas; and also included with them the Avasiras, Yodhyas, and the Ahikshatras. Having (thus) conquered the eastern quarter Karna then presented himself before Batsa-bhumi. And having taken Batsa-bhumi, he reduced Kevali, and Mrittikavati, and Mohana and Patrana, and Tripura, and Kosala,--and compelled all these to pay tribute.
→ CONCLUSION :
a) In east, Karna defeated all king including Angas, bangas, kalingas, mandikas, magdhas & karkalhandas, avasiras, yodhyas & ahishastras.
b) There was Batsa-bhoomi where Rakshashas (Monsters) were living n people were irritated by them. Karna destroyed all rakshasas giving freedom to people.
c) Then Karna started to destroy all Rakshashas(monster) in east & their kingdom including Kevali, mrittikevali, mohana, patrana, Tripura & konasa.
--------------------------------------
● Victory over SOUTH direction :
Sacred-Text :
Then going to the south, Karna vanquished the mighty charioteers (of that quarter) and in Dakshinatya, the Suta's son entered into conflict with Rukmi. After having fought dreadfully, Rukmi spake to the Suta's son saying, 'O foremost of monarchs, I have been pleased with thy might and prowess. I shall not do thee wrong: I have only fulfilled the vow of a Kshatriya. Gladly will I give thee as many gold coins as thou desirest.' Having met with Rukmi, Karna, repaired to Pandya and the mountain, Sri. And by fighting, he made Karala, king Nila, Venudari's son, and other best of kings living in the southern direction pay tribute. Then going to Sisupala's son, the son of the Suta defeated him and that highly powerful one also brought under his sway all the neighbouring rulers. And, O bull of the Bharata race, having subjugated the Avantis and concluded peace with them, and having met with the Vrishnis, he conquered the west. And, having come to the quarter of Varuna, he made all the Yavana and Varvara kings pay tribute.
→ CONCLUSION :
a) In south, Karna single-handly defeated Rukhmi(Brother Of Rukhamini), Pandya(enemy of krishna), nila & other all kings of south.
b) Then Karna vanquished Shishupal's son, Yavana & varvara & many other.
--------------------------------------
● Karna Conquered WHOLE EARTH :
Sacred-Text :
And, having conquered the entire earth--east, west, north and south--that hero without any aid brought under subjection all the nations of the Mlechchhas, the mountaineers, the Bhadras, the Rohitakas, the Agneyas and the Malavas. And, having conquered the mighty charioteers, headed by the Nagnajitas, the Suta's son brought the Sasakasand the Yavanasunder his sway. Having thus conquered and brought under his subjection the world, the mighty charioteer and tiger among men came (back) to Hastinapura.
→ CONCLUSION :
a) After victory in all 4 directions, Karna easily won all remaining regions including Mlechecheas, bhadras, rohitakas, agneyas, malavas, sasakasand, yavanasunder & many others.
------------------------------------
● Digvijayi karna back to hastinapur with immortal glory :
Sacred-Text :
That lord of men, Dhritarashtra's son, accompanied by his father and brothers and friends, came to that mighty bowman, who had arrived, and duly paid homage unto Karna crowned with martial
merit. And the king proclaimed his feats, saying, 'What I have not received from either Bhishma, or Drona, or Kripa, or Vahlika, I have received from thee.
HERE, AFTER CONQUERING WHOLE EARTH IN ALL 4 DIRECTIONS " DIGVIJAYI KARNA" RETURNED BACK TO HASTINAPUR. ALL PRAISED HIM FOR HIS SUCCESS.
DURYODHAN SAID TO KARNA THAT HE GOT FROM KARNA SUCH HONOUR HE DIDN'T GOT FROM BHISHMA & DRONA EVER.

But i have a question he did it with or without kavach kundal ?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
Deletewhat would have happened if Krishna was Karna's charioteer and shalya was Arjuna's charioteer in Mahabharath war?
DeleteSuch a thing is not possible. Because Krishna was on the side of Dharma and It was destined that he be the charioteer of The gandivdhari. However if such a thing would have happened, not even gods could defeat Karna, with his Vijay dhanush and neither would he loose his kavach and kundal.
DeleteA true Karna fan and Arjun admirer.
With kavach kundal
DeleteWithout because the Lord indra has been taken kavacha kudaradu at the time of 13 years back the kurekstra war not on during the war
DeleteYeah sure in van parvat, when duryodhan got caught by gandharvs , he became so sad after this incident ,Karna start digvijay without kavach kundal bcz he already gave it to the Indra god before gandharvs duryodhan incident
DeleteBikas Burma he did war with kavacha kundal
DeleteKavach and kundal were the part of the body of karna.....like hand and leg etc u cant say that ur karna was powerful because of that .A SINGER sing batter then me then i cant convince me by saying ...mo yr god has gifted him a good voice....
DeleteAre u dumb, the kavach and kundal was not like he wore it whenever it was required,it was a part of his body.ofcourse,He did the digvijay with his kavach and kundal.IT WAS THAT STULID INDRA THAT OUT OF FEAR,TOOK HIS KAVACH KUNDAL AWAY
DeleteHe did with kavach and kundal he was invincible with devine armour and earings. Even brahamstra and sudarshan couldn't have penetrated the armour because it was made of amrit
DeleteYes he did with kavach kundal. And defeated them easily no weapon penetrated hua kavach and indra saw that so he was worried during mahabharat and took his kavach and kundal
DeleteKarn was the best he won digvijay by himself but arjun won withtje help of sri Krishna
DeleteTo tum yad karlo arjun ne karna ko chal se marna pada tha jab na kavach tha na kundul or na dhanush or krishna bhagwan ne kha tha ki aaj agar chod diya karna ko to jindagi me kabhi bhi kurushetra yudh nhi jit pao ge karna>arjun hence prooved
DeleteWith out kavach kundal also he will defeat all the kings but not like arjuna with gandiva always in his hands and he proved that when he faced arjuna with out kavach kundal and lord srikirahna himself agreed that no not even alla three worlds cannot be defeated in fair war with him.at that time NOTE:-with all due respect for legends at that time.
DeleteBrother, with kawach kundal. He had kawach kundal untill the great Mahabharat yuddh started.
DeleteBhai kawatch ke Bina Kiya tha.or jarasand ko bhi Bina kawatch harya that.jalo mat
DeleteOffcourse he had them by his side...as Suryadev wouldn't let him die he may have fought with ethics but the kavacha and kundal worked inevitably at the times of need
DeleteBut it also said that bhima defeated him in digvijay yatra. Then how is it possible that karna conquered the whole earth. Kuch bhi
DeleteWithout kavach and kundal
DeleteWithout them, as in The Gandharva yudh which happened before this, he didn't have Kavach Kundal
DeleteKavach kundal can only save him from being dead but can't make him powerful so that he can win others
DeleteKavach kundal can be destroyed by Sudarshan Chakra & pasupatastra
Delete. Why great karna lost in Kurukshetra war . Only one lesson here . Disrespect of draupadi is not equal to digvijay yatra. This was the sin greater than all warrior.
Arjun is nara & Krishna is Narayana
They Nara Narayana avatar of lord Vishnu. Karna is sahasra kavach.
Everything with support of that
DeleteDid Arjuna Fought all his Battles and war with or without Gandiva.
DeletePlease do not ask Stupid Questions.
A warrior without Armour is a lady without Clothes.
But i have a question he did it with or without kavach kundal ?
ReplyDeleteso what if he did it with Kavach and Kundal??No ordinary person could be blessed with such a kavach and kundal.Arjun also received various blessings from Indra Agni and other deities for example he received a divine quiver which had undending no.of arrorws.Arjuna used the Gandiva most of the time but Karna only used the Vijay Dhanush on the 17th day of the war
DeleteAlso during virat yudh Arjun used Gandiv but Karan used his Vijay dhanush only when he was declared senapati of Kuru Sena on 17th day of war.
DeleteHe did it with kawach and kundal when pandavas was in exile
DeleteKarna was not defeat Arjun using
DeleteSleepy arrow that why karn faint down(behosh ho jana).
karna>arjun hence prooved
Yes bro
DeleteYes with kavach and kundal
DeleteWith kavacha kundal
DeleteHe did it with or without kavach kundal ?
ReplyDeleteIt was with him as attached body part. He donated it after completion of digvijay, just before war with Pandav's. He started donation after he became reach by wealth from Digvijay.
DeleteHe never used kavcha during war...
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteKarna is the great...he gave to indra since with kavach no one can beat karna he want fair war with arjun
ReplyDeleteBut Arjun had Shree Krishna with him...I guess that was the best armour anyone can posses.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletebikash burma u dont understand english ? its already mentioned he defeated all the king single hand so nothing related to his kavach kundal and even he use ordinary bow on digjyaya yathra he never use vijaya dhanush bow, if he use vijaya dhanush even lord shiva could face him lord krishna mentioned to arjuna in krurkshetra war on 17 day because karna use vijaya bow 1st time on 17 day war.... actually arjuna never kill karna on 17 day its clear cut its a murder karna & arjuna attack unarmed warrior karna from behind not even face to face and you karna on 16th day 17th day in krurkshetra war karna cut off arjuna ghandiva bow as many times
ReplyDeleteit seems that you havenot read the mahabharata. its because of his gifted kavach and kundala that he was undefeated. he was beheaded by Arjuna from a frontal attack, not from behind. Read the original mahabharata and try to argue.
Deletesee, try to be logical and rational. if karna defeated all the kings and took them in the kaurava side, was only the five pandavas went to the war with the whole of aryabarta? and regarding the bijay dhanush, he fought all the battles with the bijaya dhanush, his kavach and kundal and the mahabharata war with the bijay dhanush. Karna was clearly defeated and killed by Arjuna==the original mahabharata.

Deletecommon sense arjun fans : if arjuna was really stronger than karna he wont have attacked when karna was weaponless and his chariot strucked .... this being when arjuna had krishna and karna shalya(who demotivated him)
DeleteArjuna killed karna in a fair fight.
DeleteIt was never a fair fight
DeleteThis jaideep gill is an extreme arjun bhakt he is a blogger of page called logic Astra a pro arjun page
Deleteeverybody ban logic divyastra written by the only mard of india please.
DeleteHe said that dhrishtadyumna defeated bhishma, karna, drona and is better than parashurama, hanuman, and atikaya the son of hanuman which I do not think is true at all.
https://logicastra.blogspot.com/2020/12/ this I think is the worst webpage and website .
Exactly true. I agree with this statement. Always Karna above Arjuna . sacrifice life with his honesty. He Became silent when Dussasan insulted Droupathi in front of all seniors. But there is no answer when she insulted him after lifted bow during Swayamvaram nobody can't say the answer.
ReplyDeletedon't try to manipulate the history bro. karna used abusive words against draupadi. he used the word prosti and told duryodhan to order draupadi and sit on the lap of duryodhan. karna never always above arjuna.

ReplyDeletedid he defeat krishna as well in his digvijay?
ReplyDeleteVasudev Krishna can only defeated by one person and that is Vasudev Krishna himself
DeleteThat means in his digvijay he didn't defeat dwarka. How can we say Karna concurred the whole earth?
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteSandhi ...maybe karna frndship wid krishna nd balram...
DeleteNo he has decided not to attack on Dwarka before starting Digvijay, He also has seen shishupal vadh during Pandav's Rajsuy yagy. He had vision that Krishna is lord. That's why he never fought to Dwarka.
DeleteStop being a bother. Its not like he fought with everyone kings'. He gave two options to every king either fight with him or be ally with Hastinapur. So he just allied with Dwaraka. Also remember that this is real world where betrayls happens so some of their allies betrayed him and joined panadavas in the war.
DeleteKrishna was cousin of Arjuna and so of Duryodhana and remember Duryodhana was dearest of Balrama and Karna did it for Duryodhana. Also Krishna gave Narayani forces to Kauravas before Kurukshetra War.So i don't see any reason of including Dwarika in Digvijay as they were already relatives of Both Pandavas and Kauravas and were Allied to both in the Final Great war.

DeleteFriends, Karna defeated the Narayanas and Gopalas during his Digvijay Yatra. Possibly he defeated Satyaki who headed Narayanas and no idea about Gopalas. It is there in original Vyasa Mahabharata. Plz refer.
Deletesome ordinary pandava/panchala warrior defeated karna on the 17th day and his sons had to save him
DeleteWhen bhism insulted him after he left (because chitrsen using illegal war tactics) varnavrat while fighting with chitrasen he decides for digvijay, he exempted dwarka and mathura because he respects krishna. He knows that krishna is a vishnu avatar.
DeleteHe didn't beat dwarka
ReplyDeleteHe didn't beat dwaraka because there hav friendly reletionship with balram and Krishna
Deletedid he beat virat in digvijay?? or beat arjuna in his whole life??
ReplyDeleteArjuna was saved by Lord sri Krishna and hanuman sitting on his chariot, if not the sarpastra would have severed the bogus warriors head and killed him instantly, and at the end of the war Hanuman says he saved the chariot of Arjuna from karna's astras,
Deleteto virat war and draupadi swayaymvar both the time Arjuna was disguised as a Gay and brahman and Karna was really not prepaped to fight with light weights so he did not fight to his full potential
hanuman was not on Arjuna's chariot and Arjuna was never disguised. Karna is a toy for Arjuna in battle.
DeleteKarna is a toy?
DeleteLol ... Then why did arjun defeated a toy while that toy was defenceless 🤣😂
He fought with Virat but at time of kurukshetra Virat King Mastya came from Pandav's side because in adnyatvas Pandava's helped him when Duryodhan from South attacked Virat.
ReplyDeleteI always feel a sense of sorrow for Karan. He was always destined to die, I think he was a rakshas in a previous life who had some kind of body armour?? I'm sure the learned souls on here know more about it than me. But back to Karn, Sut putra, son of a God. He was always destined to lose. His main rival Arjun (and brother) had Lord Krishan Ji as his charioteer. He was cursed by his Guru Parashuram (Bhism's great rival) that he would forget his teachings when he most needed it. He promised to only use his Astral weapons once against Arjun. Obviously he also promised Kunti that she would have 5 sons left at the end of the war. He also gave up his kavach and kundal to Indra Dev when he disguised himself as an old man and asked for it on a day that Karn would grant all wishes. The Gods showered him with flowers afterwards. Bishm did not allow him to enter the war at the start and kept him subdued. He followed the rules of war and even when.he had Arjun beat, he didn't pursue it because of the setting sun. His death however, is quite shameful. I think it is linked to another curse too. Totally against the rules of war. Krishan egged Arjun on to shoot Karn while he was trying to free his chariot wheel that had been stuck in the mud. We are talking about a warrior who was so great, the only warrior who surpasses him is Indrajit Meghnad. He was always destined to die, there was too much going against him. Plus, a woman who had five husbands still lusted after him. Not hos fault, but the writing was on the wall.
ReplyDeleteDid karna defeat gandharvas in his digvijay yatra?
ReplyDeletethat incident of karna defeating gandharvas was removed as interpolation by bori
DeleteYes, he did.
DeleteDid karna defeat gandharvas in his digvijay yatra?
ReplyDeleteno he did not
Deleteactually he did and I do not know if you really are a mard.
DeleteMard nahi hai ye
DeleteThe death of Karna gives the message that none is above than righteousness. No matter how pure you live your life, one wrong deed can become heavy on all the rights. True AND Tragic Hero!
ReplyDeletewell pandavs also did adharma more than karna and u know mahabharat
Deleteevere where pandavs were made true by people and tv serials are made from side of pandavs
So many pandava supporting fools here
DeleteNo Karna only conquered 18 kingdoms. It is complete nonsense to say that he conquered the whole world. if it was true then we would have more cities and countries outside of india named after Karna. Karna could not even conquer all of india. He failed to conquer Dwaraka.
ReplyDeleteDwarika is not a country it was a town like jila but mathura is country and karna defeat mathura ruler
DeleteThe story of karna's career in the Kurukshetra war.
ReplyDeletePart 1 - When Karna faced king Virata on day 11 of Kurukshetra war he fought with a spear. In that spear duel Karna was defeated. Karna failed to withstand the skill of Virata. He was ambushed and his charioteer Satyasena was killed by matsya warriors. Dussassana and Lakshmana questioned Karna later on that day why he did not hurl his Vasavi dart?
Part 2 - On day 12 Satyaki cut off Karna's bow and defeated him badly piercing Karna with over 64 arrows. Then Duryodhana, Jayadratha & guru Drona had to come and save Karna from Satyaki.
Part 3 - On day 12 Bhima had killed over 15 of Karna's subjects and followers.
Part 4 - On day 13, Abhimanyu defeated Karna 6 times and made Karna run away. Karna begged guru Drona to tell him how to kill Abhimanyu.
Part 5 - On day 13, Abhimanyu killed six counselors of Karna and killed Karna's foster brother. Karna claimed that he is only staying in the battlefield because as a warrior he should be their.
Part 6 - On day 14, Bhima cut off 50 bows of Karna and then jumped on Karna's chariot and Karna hid underneath it out of fear.
Part 7 - On day 14, Vikarna and Durjaya saved Karna from Bhima. Duryodhana sent his brothers after Bhima to protect Karna.
Part 8 - On day 14, Karna had a special golden chariot brought to him to fight with Satyaki. Yet Karna lost to Satyaki and his life was spared by Satyaki.
Part 9 - On day 15, Karna is defeated by Arjuna, then Duryodhana realizes how weak and incompetent Karna is and decides to face Arjuna himself.
Part 10 - On day 15, Duryodhana brings in his Rakshasa friends Alamvusha and Alayudha to fight the Pandavas as he witnessed the repeated failures of Drona, Karna & Aswathamman. He realised Karna's weaknesses in particular.
Part 11 - On day 15, Karna & his son Vrishasena together fought against Satyaki. Satyaki easily defeats both of them with his shafts and attacks Karna's son in such a way that Karna believes his son was killed when he was actually still alive.
Part 12 - On day 15, karna and six others ambush Dhrishtadyumna the general of the Pandava army and attack him on all sides. Dhrishtadyumna wounds them all and cuts off Karna's bow.
As a result of frustration Karna advises Duryodhana that they should form a group attack to kill Dhrishtadyumna and Satyaki similar to how they assaulted Abhimanyu previously.
Part 13 - On day 16, Karna fails to pierce Ghatotkaca and as a result Karna accidentally killed the soldiers of the Kauravas. Karna out of desperation hurls the Vasavi dart on Ghatotkaca as all of his other weapons including Bhargavastra failed.
Part 14 - On day 16, when Bhima killed 12 Kaurava brothers, Karna ran away upon seeing their corpses and Bhima's rage after Ghatotkaca's death.
Part 15 - On day 16, when Dhrishtadyumna executes Karna's guru Drona, karna flees the battlefield in fear again.
Part 16 - On day 17, Satyaki kills Karna's grandson Prasena, Karna runs away after getting wounded by arrows of Satyaki. Karna avoids Satyaki and chosoes to fight with Nakula instead. Nakula cut off Karna's bow 4 times and wounded him severely. Karna managed to defeat Nakula in the end though.
Part 17 - On day 17, Bhima rescues Yudhishthira who was captured by Karna, and Bhima struck Karna with a shaft that pummeled him into a coma, while Shalya has to persuade Bhima not to cut off the tongue of the unconscious Karna.
Part 18 - On day 17, Arjuna kills Karna's son Vrishasena right in-front of his eyes. And then kills Karna himself. The battle of that day did not end after Karna's death it still continued even after his death Duryodhana still fought. Karna's death did not mean anything to the Kaurava army. Cause his presence made no difference in the war.
Even Krishna said that Arjuna is the best when he was speaking to Valarama
Karna was the greatest warrior and best human being in mahabarath.do not give wrong information.

Karna & Arjun are Brother's
Lord parashuram had teached Bramhadanda Astra to Drona and Karna. This made the kaurava armies to fight without fear.
Deleteshut the fuck up bitchass pussy of karnas mother radha!
Deletetheir was no brahmand astra kill yourself please
According to BORI (the most authentic version), Karna did conquer the entire world. However there are many misconceptions regarding the time of occurrence of world conquest of Karna. Let me clear this misconception with appropriate reasoning. World conquest by Karna (what many people call as 'Digvijaya Yatra of Karna') is one of the most hidden facts in Mahabharata. I shall try to clear the mystery of World conquest of Karna.
ReplyDeleteAccording to BORI :
In Ghosh Yatra parva (a sub parva of Vana parva) there is no recitation of world conquest of Karna by Vaishampayana. So the world conquest of Karna doesn't take place in Vana parva.
Now come to Virata parva. In Go-Grahana parva (a sub parva of Virata parva) just before the Virata war, when Karna boasts that he would defeat Arjuna very easily , Kripacharya intervenes and rebukes him. Kripa asks him whether he had conquered the entire earth just like the pandava brothers. To this Karna remains silent. This clearly shows that Karna didn't conquer the earth till then. So we can safely assume that the world conquest of Karna doesn't take place in Virata parva.
But yet , KARNA CONQUERED THE ENTIRE EARTH. World conquest of Karna takes place in Udyoga parva. How ? Let me explain.
In chapter 1083 (106) of Jayadratha vadha parva (a sub parva of Drona parva), Dhritarasthra tells that Karna conquered the entire world in a single chariot.
In chapter 1155 (5) of Karna parva, Dhritarasthra again mentions the world conquest of Karna.
Apart from these statements, there are some other statements in Bhishma parva , Drona parva , and Karna parva which clearly indicates the world conquest of Karna.
Discerning the above conditions , obviously KARNA CONQUERED THE ENTIRE WORLD IN UDYOGA PARVA. Many people (almost all) are unaware of this fact. Karna didn't conquer the world upto the recitation of Mahabharata till Virata parva. But in Bhishma parva , Drona parva , and Karna parva there are direct statements which clearly shows the world conquest of Karna. So the world conquest of Karna DEFINITELY OCCURRED , but not in Vana parva (which most people believe.) World conquest of Karna happens in Udyoga parva. There is also a strong evidence to prove this fact - Duryodhan needed to build up a strong army to confront the pandavas in Kurukshetra war. So obviously Karna marched out from Hastinapur, conquered the entire earth , and made the kings of earth as allies of Duryodhan to serve the Kourava side for the upcoming Kurukshetra war.
I have the 10 volumes of BORI Mahabharata by Penguin pub. translated by Bibek Debroy. I have read them thoroughly and many times. According to the most authentic version i.e. BORI , Karna conquered the entire world in Udyoga parva to make the kings of earth as Duryodhan's allies and not for any Vaishnava sacrifice
(which most people believe.) This is the best decision someone who has carefully read the BORI can take regarding the world conquest of Karna.
Dhritarashtra said one year passed after the Virat war. 1 year is not enough to conquer so many kingdoms (Dhritarashtra listed 22 kingdoms exactly conquered by Karna including the Panchalas).
DeleteIs it possible to do that during Udyoga Parva especially when the Pandavas were planning for war after their exile? When Duryodhana went to Dwaraka to ask for the Narayani Sena? When karna conquered Dwaraka? Lol. The theory is flawed completely.
Karna also defeated kichakas, Samsaptakas, Gopalas, Narayanas and 45 such races as mentioned in BORI. THIS MEANS HE DEFEATED VIRATA, EKLAVYA, KRISHNA'S ARMY AS WELL.
ReplyDeleteNo it's not. But anyways if Karna defeated the kichakas before then why would he attack the Matsya kingdom of Virata during the year of incognito?
ReplyDeleteBro when karna defeated kichak he was chief commander of matsaya and then he became his friend king virat was having nothing to do with this however kichak was skilled by bhimasen while he was drunk..
DeleteWhen this news went to other states, Karna told Duryodhan that Keechak was a very strong man only six people could kill him. The people who could kill him included, Balram (Krishna's older brother), Bheeshma, guru Drona, Duryodhan, Bheem and Karna himself.
Karna and Duryodhan were able to figure out that if the other five did not kill Keechak, it certainly was Bheem. This cheered them up as they thought that they could had found out where the Pandavs were during the agyatvas, hence, Pandavs would have to go to exile again. That's the reason they attacked virat but during karna digvijaya conquest pandavs was not there in virata..
Karna was undefeatable on earth
ReplyDeleteBoth Arjuna and Karna were great..Arjuna had almost all divine weapons including pashupatashtr wherein karna had badali shakti..Arjuna wanted battle to be won without or minimal using of divine weapons wherein karna fought with divine weapons from beginning however forgot mantras when he needed the most. Also, fighting without chariot is not excuse as Abhimanyu, parshuram with bhima fought without chariot..Remember Lakshmana fighting indrajit without chariot. Conclusion is if Arjuna and karna both fight with full strength then result would be inconclusive because if Arjuna uses pashupatAshastrA then karna would be defeated or if karna uses badali shakti then Arjun would be defeated.I am not fan of Arjuna or karna as I find them no where near to bhisma so my answer above is unbiased
ReplyDeletePerfect answer...
DeleteI agree. Bhishma>Arjuna=Karna is what I agree on
DeleteKrishna never bright Arjun in front of karna untill he used vasaki Shakti against gathit match.krishna know that karna would use all his divine weapons against Arjun.Karna at later stage used nagaastra vaishno astra, tried invoking brahmastra against Arjun.Arjuna if fought without krishna night have used garuda astra to counter nagaastra pashupat astra against vaishno astra bajra shakti or pashupatastra against vasaki shakti.Hence both were almost in archery however karna was more strong built so he was physically more strong er than arjuna
ReplyDeleteDigvijay of Karna was great. Its the rajsuya yagna which is fake. Yes the Rajsuya yagna where bhima had defeated karna. This Rajsuya Yagna was just a family function or a kitty party. So forget karna no body was conquered by bhima or any one else. "Rajsuya is a shrautyajna, and is mentioned in the vedic samhita and the Brahmanam, in detail. The verses that are used in this Yajna are found in the various branches of Yajurveda. There are two connected Yajnas, the Vaajpeya and the Rajsuya. While the former is for the Brahmins as well as the kshatriya, the latter is only for the Kshatriya kings. Hence Madhyandin Yajurveda has verses 9.1–34 for the Vaajpeya Yajna, while the later verses from 9.35 onward to the end of chapter 10 are for Rajsuya Yajna, and these give the details of the various small and large rituals, the appeasement of Gods and other ancillaries of the Rajsuya Yajna. The verses 10.11–14 ask for the performer of the Yajna to move into the south, north, western and the above atmosphere, but there is no mention of the armies, or the horse to move in order to win the world, as it is said to be in the case of Ashwamedha Yajna.
ReplyDeleteHence, the procedure of the Yajna has been much altered by the epics like Mahabharata and various puranas, to suit their own purpose, and the same is not found in the Samhita or the Brahmanam.
I like arjun but I respect karna for his struggle in his whole life. He became great archer with facing odds in society. When he fought in mahabharata war, he knew that pandavas were his brother. He would become king as eldest pandav. But he chose to fight. In whole life, everyone disrespected him. But after war even pandavas down before him.
ReplyDeleteJealous Arjun fans ?

Karna was nothing but an useless warrior. His blind faith towards unfaithful Duryodhan was the main obstacle for establishing Dharma in the then Bharat. In fact he was a great curse of society.
ReplyDeleteIn whole mahabheat I dont see the establishment of Dharma...
DeleteThe whole Battle was for power and Singhashan and dharma cannot be established by doing Adharma...whole battle was unfair from both side which is adharma...
കർണ്ണൻ the best example for friendship ......
ReplyDeleteBut one thing is for sure had Bhagadhatta released his vaishnava astra karana would have died. There are three forms of Vishnu. One, he meditates, second he is the preserver and third is the vaishnav astra. Even mortals would have died with this astra. It's just a story so
ReplyDeleteKarna Indra Shakti can killed bhagdutt
DeleteKarna would have easily countered that weapon with his bhargavastra...when karna used bhargavastra in war arjuna ran like a coward from the battlefield...and karna can use bhargavastra twice...
DeleteKarna ka mandir banana chaiye

ReplyDeletekarna and arjuna are or were atimaharathis I guess. Krishna was atimaharathi I guess. Bhishma was or was a mahamaharathi I guess.
